Share to Spread Love

At times, I find it difficult to put my thoughts into words. It’s not because I lack ideas, but rather my emotions are too intense and significant, making it seem trivial to express them in writing. The feelings are so overwhelming & profound that the words appear menial & low-key. This is why people indulge in physical manifestation of their emotions & feelings. In all these years of human evolution, we have mastered technology, but matters of the heart are still a mystery. Even now, we can’t comprehend why we feel how we feel. Why, at one point, do we get touched with fierce emotions & why, at the other, do we stay as hard as a stone? What makes us share everything & what is it that holds us back? Why are human emotions like a sea-going up & down, moving to & fro? At times, these feelings & thoughts are our motivators. They push us towards our greatest good and make us move mountains & at other times, they can demoralise & rip our faith. No matter what they do to us, one thing is sure that this makes us human.

The ability to feel deeply is a valuable trait that ought to be appreciated and cultivated. If feeling ecstatic, joyful & elated is okay, then there is nothing wrong with crying, getting angry or offended. Does that mean we need to be excessively expressive about everything? No, definitely not. Emotions are there for a reason. Nothing is random & useless. It is said that excess of everything is bad. Overindulgence can lead to a mental & physical block. As I mentioned earlier, sometimes, I struggle with expressing myself when inundated but I make an effort to avoid staying in that state. When faced with a decision, I choose to either go out or go within. While going out can be helpful, going in is often the better choice, as it offers a fresh outlook. This shift in perspective leads to increased clarity and the discovery of a solution.

The prime aim of human existence is to touch the Bliss Body or ‘Paramananda’. The family & societal settings, assuredly, don’t pamper this idea. And we cannot control what others are doing, but we can, for sure, decide what we want to feel & how we wish to respond. Our thoughts, feelings & emotions are our guides. They show us where we are & inspire us to make changes internally and externally.

This post is a friendly reminder that your emotions can provide valuable insights and lessons. It’s essential to take the time to listen to them carefully. By believing in your own feelings, you can empower yourself to make the best choice of your life. ~Poonam

  1. Mankind knows what one is doing and what are its repercussions going to be on ones mind and soul, still we don’t have fear of God who is omnipresent. We deceit ourselves by shielding our misdeeds from our near and dear ones ignoring the fact that we are always in the eyes of Almighty God.

    Pray for wisdome sense prevail.
