Soham,

Since I published my book ‘Soham – The Chronology of Spiritualism’, I have been constantly asked by women as to how they can revive their feminine energies. To my astonishment, no single man has raised any query regarding balancing their masculine power! I presume either they believe that men are perfectly aligned, are utterly non-interested in this philosophy, or are too shy to talk about it. Whatever the reason, I am writing this post to shed more light on awakening the goddess within you. And this can help both females & males because, as explained in the book, irrespective of your gender, you have both feminine & masculine energies. When you begin to work on one, the other also starts to heal & ultimately, you attain balance.

After getting initial information about energy dynamics, almost every sensible female realizes that her verve needs conversion. She understands that family & societal pressures have inverted her vigour & she begins to crave to embrace her feministic grace. This realization of her fills me with immense pleasure as this is the first step towards attaining divinity.

REALIZATION CREATES A SEEKER

                        &

ONE WHO SEEKS, RECEIVES

Over the past few decades, the structure of society has diminished the feminine in all its forms. Work culture has increased & females are going out of their homes to earn money & for this, they have to become part of the competition & run a rat race. Even if they stay home, they must strive to be perfect in all roles and perform all their duties on time & with great perfection. Going to bed late & getting up early, taking up the pressure of kids’ studies, tuition & other classes, coping with the demands of relations & ignoring their needs, not having me-time & succumbing to the norms of beauty & fashion set by designers & peer pressure.

Feminine is about free-flow movement, creativity, relaxation, nurture, art & intuition. Masculine is defined by discipline, leadership, hard work, rules, economy & intellect. Hence, restrictions create a bar in the progression of the feminine.

When you perform any task, be it at home or the office, you use your masculine energies—giving presentations, finishing projects, being an active participant in discussions, being judgmental, giving justifications, taking the lead, managing & supervising office & home and keeping track of the time so that nothing is delayed. In other words, you have to be on your toes 24/7. Therefore, in their desire to fit in, women have lost their originality. In their  whim to have it all, they have lost their grace. They are not creating; they are leading. They are not loving; they are managing. They are not taking anything easy but struggling. Some of the credit for this goes to the males because they have lost their masculinity; hence, they are not able to think, behave & act from the place of their original power; therefore, females have to perform masculine tasks, which in turn prevent them from staying in touch with their femineity.

I have observed an alarming change in the characteristic of young girls, which no one seems to talk about. When we were small, we used to laugh & giggle over small things, so much so that tears would flow due to hard laughs. This was quite normal. But in the past few years, girls have turned very somberThey are always in a competition mode, physically or mentally. Being joyful & exuberant are feminine qualities, and masculine is strict & subdued.

Does this indicate that females should restrict themself to the premises of their home, tend to their duties as a mother, daughter, wife etc. & not work towards establishing their individuality? No, definitely not! It would be best to remember that you  need both energies to lead a balanced & fulfilling life. You need to tap into your masculine to complete challenging & competitive tasks, but you don’t have to dwell in those energies all the time. After you are done, soften your attitude & shift back to your feminine side. There is absolutely no need to be authoritative all the time. For instance, when you come home from work or when kids return home, meet & greet them with utmost affection. As you shift your role, your energies should also shift.

You are a woman, dress like a woman. Adorn flowy & soft fabrics that don’t restrict the movement of your body.

You are a woman, look like a woman. Style your hair, and apply some makeup to enhance your beauty.

You are a woman feel like a woman. Don’t be discriminative. Be loving, kind & all-inclusive.

You are a woman, behave like a woman. Don’t be stiff, loud & wild. Be subtle & smile more often.

You are a woman, think like a woman. Don’t be jealous. Don’t conspire & be emotionally supportive.

You are a woman, live like a woman. Learn to receive. Nourish & nurture but don’t struggle all the time. Be confident but ask for help when need be. Don’t carry an unnecessary burden. Listen to your intuition. Keep your spirits free, let go & surrender.

People who are cringy, demanding & angry all the time, who are not happy to see others’ happiness, who are self-centred & always want things their way are in their ‘Toxic Masculinity’. Male or female, both can pertain to Toxic Masculinity; stay away from such people.  Practice your will wherever & whenever it is required, but at times it is ok to go with the flow. Learn to distinguish between your wants & needs, as this will help you set your priorities, establish your boundaries & it will also enlighten you to shift your dynamics according to the situation. At first, you might find it difficult, but with practice, as you will hone this skill, it will save you from uncalled-for drama & chaos. It will be a real energy saver & will boost your mental & physical well-being.

Females are the beings of the Moon, as the males are of the Sun. Be like a moon; elegant, soft, calm, enchanting, graceful, illuminating, deeply insightful, inspiring & versatile. A reminder; don’t fake these aspects; instead, practice with complete dedication & you will observe a transcendental swing in your personality & your life as a whole. Here is a bonus point; as you transform your energies, you will also witness a change in your partner’s dynamics. And if you are single, you will attract a masculine companion. Feels good, isn’t it?

This post only covers some of it. To get more information, read the book ‘Soham – The Chronology of Spiritualism’ available globally on Amazon & Flipkart (also on some other international sites). 1. Very well explained, thank you for your wise words. In the run for equality, women are losing their authenticity. Male dominating world has created an illusion that masculinity is the way to freedom and living a better life, while feminiety is just being timid and confined in the walls of the home and barriers of society. Awakening of the truth has to happen at a major level for the females to realise that their feminiety doesn’t restrict them, instead it liberates them.
This is the need of the hour, I hope this knowledge reaches maximum females to understand their true worth in being themselves.
